■White Appearance.
■Widely used as an additive for polyamides.
■High toughness and high strength.
■Heat resistance and low moisture absorption.
■Mainly used for food industry packaging films, as well as sterile films and bags used in the pharmaceutical and medical fields. It is also made into sheets and sintered powder for coating metals. In the electronics field, it is used for covering cables and insulation materials. In the automotive industry, it is used for preparing oil-resistant and gasoline-resistant pipes. In the cosmetics and personal care industry, it is used as an additive and opacifier in face powders, body powders, and skincare creams. It also has applications in the textile industry for producing sports and leisure products.
BASF-NYLON-PA6
- ■Chemically classified as a polyamide substance.
- ■Good mechanical properties.
Nylon is a crystalline plastic with hydrogen bonding characteristics, providing high mechanical strength. - ■Good fire resistance.
- Nylon resin has a minimum oxygen index (LOI) of 27-28%, indicating fire resistance. By adding flame retardants, its flame retardant properties can reach UL94 V-0.
- ■Good chemical resistance.
- Due to its crystallinity, nylon has good solvent resistance and oil resistance.
- ■Good heat resistance
- With a high melting point of approximately 220 ± 5°C, nylon exhibits excellent heat resistance and maintains stability in high-temperature environments.
- ■Good weather resistance
- By adding stabilizers, its weather resistance can be enhanced, making it widely used in automotive exterior parts..
- ■Good wear resistance
- Nylon has excellent sliding wear characteristics and self-lubricating properties. Adding glass fibers can further improve its wear resistance.

■High ductility and impact strength, used for producing durable parts that can withstand high mechanical loads.
■Renewable biomass resource, designed for lightweight 3D printed parts by reducing wall thickness, and can also be in contact with the skin.
■High impact resistance
■Applications in the automotive industry, such as interior car parts. Additionally, it is an ideal material for manufacturing living hinges.
