MORE DESIGN is FORMFTY HUB's product design team in Taipei, Taiwan, doing product definition, industrial design, CMF and mechanical design for hardware startups and brand owners, with more than 200 design and development projects over 20+ years. Our industrial 3D printing factory is in the same group, so a finished drawing becomes a physical part quickly and you can check proportion, structure and assembly in your hand.

Design and in-house manufacturing, one team
A lot of designs get stuck at the point where they look fine on screen and can't be built. MORE DESIGN and FORMFTY MANUFACTURE are both part of FORMFTY HUB, so a design file can go to our own 3D printers the same day. Proportion, feel in the hand, snap fits and assembly problems show up on the prototype, long before you pay for a mold.

- We can sign an NDA before we look at your files. Confidential projects are handled by a dedicated person and shipped under a code name.
- Quality
- ISO 9001 quality management system. Parts that don't meet spec are remade, guaranteed.
- Response
- Inquiries get a first reply within 6 working hours (Taiwan time, GMT+8).
- Formal quote
- The 6-hour reply is a first response: we confirm what you need and ask for anything missing. The formal quote comes separately, based on your files, quantity and material.

- Can I work with FORMFTY if I don't have CAD files yet?
- Yes. Tell us what it's for, how many you need, the material you have in mind, your quality requirements, target cost and timeline. MORE DESIGN can start at product definition, and FORMFTY MANUFACTURE works out the process.
- What kind of design work does MORE DESIGN do?
- Product strategy and definition, industrial design, CMF, and mechanical and structural design. We also help with marketing planning, electronics design, and graphic work such as flyers, websites and packaging.
- Can a design be prototyped right away?
- Yes. MORE DESIGN and FORMFTY MANUFACTURE are both part of FORMFTY HUB, so a design file can go to our own 3D printers the same day, and problems with proportion, feel, snap fits and assembly show up on the prototype.
- Can one team take my product all the way to production?
- Yes. MORE DESIGN handles the design, and FORMFTY MANUFACTURE makes the prototypes and low-volume runs of 2–300 parts. For higher volumes, sheet metal, CNC, mold making and injection molding are planned through the same point of contact.
- What design awards has MORE DESIGN won?
- More than 10 design awards in Taiwan and abroad, including Red Dot (Germany), iF (Germany), Good Design Award (Japan), the Taiwan Excellence Gold Award and the CES Innovation Award (USA).
