About FORMFTY HUB
Design, manufacturing, launch and capital, handed on within one hub.
FORMFTY HUB is a design and manufacturing hub in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan, where product design, 3D printed prototypes, low-volume production, launch and sales all go through one point of contact. It is made up of MORE DESIGN, FORMFTY MANUFACTURE, HALO FOUNDRY and ANGEL CLUB. MORE DESIGN and FORMFTY MANUFACTURE co-founded the FORMFTY 3D Printing and Product Design Research Center with Tatung University, and a product can start here with definition, industrial and mechanical design, go through 3D printed prototypes and a low-volume run, and move on to launch, display and sale.

Why put them together
Plenty of products get stuck at the handoff. The design firm sends drawings over, and the factory finds out they can't be built. Or the product gets made and nobody knows how to get it seen. MORE DESIGN and FORMFTY MANUFACTURE work in the same group, so a design can go to our own printers the same day. Problems with proportion, snap fits and assembly show up on the prototype instead of after the mold is cut.

- Two SLA rooms (5 machines each), an SLM metal printing room, an SLS nylon room, a PolyJet post-processing room, an IQC metrology room and a clean room.

- 15 SLA, 22 DLP, 55 FDM, 2 SLS and 1 SLM machines; 2 2.5D vision measuring machines and 3 3D articulated-arm scanners.
- Largest build
- SLA parts up to 800 × 800 × 550 mm in a single piece.

- We can sign an NDA before we look at your files. Confidential projects are handled by a dedicated person and shipped under a code name.
- Quality
- ISO 9001 quality management system. Parts that don't meet spec are remade, guaranteed.
- Inspection
- Swedish 2.5D multi-sensor measuring equipment, with full-time IQC inspection staff.
- Made in Taiwan
- Samples and low-volume runs are designed, produced, sanded, painted and assembled in Taiwan, and we work with clients to protect their intellectual property.
